How does embroidery work?
Embroidery is a simple, yet personal process. There are just a few hoops to jump through to begin your order.

First, select a product you would like to be embroidered (hat, shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, vest, baby blanket, etc.). Choose the color, size, quantity, style that you like best. Or you can bring in something you already own. We are glad to embroider on either.

Second, select your embroidery design. We carry stock designs from Dakota Collectibles that are already formatted for embroidery. You are welcome to add lettering or combine designs in order to create something that is uniquely yours. If you have a custom logo that has never been stitched before, it will need to be put into embroidery software, a process called digitizing. In simple terms, digitizing is coverting a graphic design (such as a JPEG or TIF file) into computerized instructions that tell the embroidery machine how to stitch the design. This process takes your logo from pixels to stitches. It also gives us an accurate stitch count which enables us to quote you a price per garment.
When these details have been worked out, we will give you a custom quote. We prefer to connect with you either by phone or email before finalizing the quote to make sure we've understood your preferences.

Why do you like embroidery?
My favorite reason for liking embroidery is because it presents an avenue to express creativity. This can be applied in a variety of ways, whether business or personal. But it allows each customer to give voice to the creativity that lives inside them. Perhaps you are a graphic artist and bring in a custom design. We can digitize it and stitch it for you. Maybe you only draw stick people but you have an idea of something you'd like to stitch. We can use stock designs and fonts to make something that is unique to you. It is so much fun to see how each person's creativity is different.
Do you have a minimum order?
No. We are glad to accept the smallest order, even one hat or shirt, etc. We are also capable of handling large orders. Give us a call and let us take care of your embroidery, regardless of how small or large.

Do you give a quantity discount?
Yes! Our quantity discounts start at 10% discount for orders of 12 or more of the same design on garments purchased from Headquarters. This can be configured in several ways, for example, 12 hats with the same design or 6 shirts and 6 hats, 4 shirts, 4 vests, 4 hats, etc. If you have a larger order, please contact us for further discount information. Please note--We do not offer volume discounts on customer provided garments.
How do you handle shipping?
We ship by UPS or USPS, whichever you prefer. We are also a preferred shipper with Alaska Airlines Goldstreak.
Do you make patches?
Yes, we can have patches made for you. There is a minimum quantity of 50 and they usually take 4-6 weeks. Send us a copy of your artwork and we'll get you a custom quote.
